What are the opening hours of the All Blacks Experience?

The All Blacks Experience is open seven days a week, 9:30am - 5:00pm. We are only closed on Christmas Day, 25th December. Please check the Book Now page for exact tour times.

What will I see and do inside the All Blacks Experience?

The All Blacks Experience is a place to learn more about New Zealand's story and the role that rugby has in New Zealand's culture. You'll feel the pride and passion of the All Blacks and Black Ferns, and experience first-hand the legend of our teams in Black. 

You will hear from All Blacks legends themselves who provide behind the scenes insights to their time in the team, understand what it takes to perform on the international stage, have an incredible, immersive Haka experience and get a chance to test your own rugby skills against All Blacks and Black Ferns in our interactive Step Up zone. 

The All Blacks Experience is suitable for rugby fans of all ages. Whether you've grown up dreaming of being in the Black jersey or just want to lean more about the teams and players, you'll be inspired by the legends and stories told.

Where can I park?

The most convenient parking can be found underground at SkyCity. 

All All Blacks Experience guests are eligible for 50% off when they park at SkyCity and present their car parking ticket to the Front Desk for validation. For more information click here

 

Is the All Blacks Experience suitable for children?

At the All Blacks Experience we welcome all ages, from the very youngest to the oldest All Blacks fans. We know that our hands-on interactive skills space will be a huge highlight for those kids who want to give it a go.

Infants aged 4 and under are FREE, children 5-15 years old are $25. See our pricing and tour information.

Is the All Blacks Experience suitable for guests with all levels of abilities?

We welcome guests of all levels of abilities and have done testing to make sure you everyone has an amazing experience!

Wheelchairs - We have areas in each zone to accommodate the use of wheelchairs throughout the entire experience, and all floors are level with no slopes or inclines.

Guide Dogs and Assistance Dogs are very welcome. We asked trainee guide dogs come through the experience prior to opening and they loved it!

Guests who may have adverse reactions to loud noises and lighting effects are encourage to speak to your guide prior to the tour to ensure you are aware of the conditions. We have hearing protection available if requested. 

Young children and babies may react to the loud noises (in particular in the Haka zone), but hearing protection can be supplied if needed.

How long does the All Blacks Experience take?

The guided tour takes 45 minutes.

It is best to allow a total of 90 minutes for the whole experience as you will want to spend time in Step Up, our interactive hands-on skills area and the All Blacks Experience retail store.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to you tour time in order for us to get your team registered!

Where in SkyCity can I find the All Blacks Experience?

You can find us at Level 4, 88 Federal Street in the SkyCity Precinct.

From Federal St our entrance can be found between Depot Eatery and SkyCity Grand Hotel - just come through the automatic doors and up the escalators to Level 4. 

If you're inside SkyCity you can find us via the SkyCity airbridge. Head over the bridge and past Weta Workshop Unleashed and take the escalator down to Level 4.

Will I meet an All Black inside the All Blacks Experience?

There are many All Blacks  and Black Ferns who will tell you their own stories inside the Experience. While they may not be on your tour, keep an eye out as they have been known to pop in for a visit!

If you would like to meet a player keep your eye out for our exclusive Player Tours where All Blacks legends join your tour and share their knowledge and experience of their time in the Black jersey. Player Tours run during School Holidays and and other select times throughout the year. 

How long is the All Blacks Experience open for?

The All Blacks Experience opened in December 2020 and is a permanent attraction located within the SkyCity Precinct.
